our philosophy
At TWIGS ON HIGH we have created a luxe country cottage for the perfect getway. Here, things are deliberately high on authenticity, luxury and comfort. We provide you with the very best of technological diversions as well as more authentic and engaging pursuits.
Twigs features smart technology like our Ecofire, sumptuous sound system and magnificent movie technology. But you'll find no bland interiors, no soul-less hotel rooms here. Instead we have combined our favourite things with the ultimate in personal comforts, and filled our living spaces and bedrooms with welcome. The result is a unique blend of provincial aesthetics and sophisticated appointments.
TWIGS ON HIGH sparkles and charms, a small jewel nestled amongst the quaint rural streetscape of local provedores and shops on the high street of the charming village of Trentham. If you are looking for a destination that is an experience in its own right, we may be the perfect fit. After perusing the library and choosing your weapon of choice (architecture, art, or perhaps you prefer cooking?), we want you to completely relax and perhaps fall asleep in front of the fire in our expansively inviting couches. With many different areas to cosy up or dine in, you may be inspired to do your own Master Chef and cook up a storm in the superb kitchen. Or if you venture out the front door of Twigs you will find many famous foodies ready to tempt you within short walking order. And a little retail therapy may be hard to resist, when you delight in discovering the unique and eclectic shops on offer. We've thought of everything; picnic rugs and blankets provided to wander down to the lake and count the ducks, even gumboots and a brolly provided. All you need to do, is enjoy!
TWIGS ON HIGH would love to connect you with our local treasures, and we invite you to explore the district's wineries, gourmet eateries, enchanting gardens and fascinating shops and galleries. There is plenty to do and see in Trentham and lots to explore in the surrounding villages of Daylesford, Hepburn Springs, Blackwood, Kyneton, Malmsbury and Woodend. That is, if you can bring yourself to leave.
